Summary and Objective
The 145 Parts Manager/MRO Buyer is responsible for overseeing the procurement of all aircraft related parts, equipment and supplies to meet departmental requirements associated with the companys overall aircraft operations. This entails sourcing aircraft parts, initiating purchase orders, expediting existing orders and coordinating logistics to meet the immediate requirements. Also responsible for the oversight of the Parts Specialist. This position will ensure all core units are returned to the supplying vendor in a timely manner and that any billbacks from these units have been mitigated to the maximum extent.

Review all purchase requisitions for content, accuracy, interchangeability and the level of urgency. Also monitor current stock levels and usages, to determine the necessity of the request.
