Tasks
The Account Manager is responsible for:
- Comprehensive preparation of contract negotiations (incl. quotations) in close cooperation with the Sales Manager and Commercial Manager. Negotiate contracts with existing corporate accounts and agencies with clear focus on revenue quality and growth of business
- Monthly evaluation of own portfolio performance as well as those of the team in alignment with Sales Manager and in close cooperation with Commercial Manager. Identify new revenue potential in all existing portfolios and act as a sales entrepreneur by evaluating and implementing new sales products and programs in order to stimulate further revenue growth
- Negotiate complex contracts with high potential / high volume companies identified / developed via the New Business & SME Manager
* Perform all other duties assigned or required
Requirements
The ideal Account Manager should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma
- Bachelors degree required
- Fluent English and Chinese language required
- Professional experience for more than 6 years of previous cargo experience or in a related area such as in the transport and logistics industry, preferably Sales/ Account Management experience
- Airfreight industry/spanet knowledge required
- Good computer literate
- Willingness to travel
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
