What You Will Be Doing

The Special Programs Quality Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive quality strategy that aligns with our companys vision and goals. This strategy will ensure that Quality is incorporated into the concepts, designs, processes, and proposals of our emerging technologies and early development programs. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Developing and implementing a comprehensive quality strategy that integrates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
-Collaborating with program management, engineering, production operations, and other stakeholders to ensure quality is incorporated into program plans, designs, and processes
-Integrating with proposal teams to ensure appropriate quality scope is established early in the program lifecycle
-Identifying and mitigating risks to quality, safety, and reliability; developing and maintaining quality metrics to measure program performance
-Leading Failure Review Boards and developing/implementing corrective actions to address quality issues and improve processes
-Building and leading an agile team of quality professionals to drive exceptional results across all quality disciplines
-Representing the Quality and Mission Success (QMS) Organization at key program and executive meetings

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree or higher in STEM
-Must have ability to travel
-Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance
-Demonstrated Quality, Operations, or Engineering leadership experience
-Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material in Aerospace industry, including previous or current Material Review Board Quality Engineering authority
-Experience in Product Development Processes and test equipment design, development, and validation practices
-Effective presentation skills, ability to develop messages, training and compelling strategies resulting in diverse teams implementing and executing new solutions
-Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with other functions, programs and internal/external customers
Desired Skills:
-Active Top Secret clearance
-Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
-ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
-Advanced AS9100 and AS9102 interpretation and application experience
-Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) experience
-Experienced in Bid, Proposal and Estimating practices and development of Quality Assurance --Basis of Estimates (BOE)
-Earned Value Management System Cost Account Manager (EVMS CAM)
-Familiar with requirements for handling and control of Government Furnished Equipment/Property during field, ground or operational tests
-Software quality experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
