Position SummaryThe Assistant Manager, Global Sponsorships is responsible for developing and executing sponsorship strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive revenue growth, and establish meaningful partnerships. This role involves identifying potential sponsorship opportunities, negotiating agreements, and managing relationships with sponsors to ensure mutual benefits. This role collaborates with internal teams to align sponsorship activities with overall spaneting objectives and effectively communicate the brands message through sponsored events, activities, or campaigns. This role requires a combination of strong communication, negotiation, strategic thinking & project management skills to drive collaboration and execute both offline and digital initiatives.
Key Accountability1. Sponsorship Strategy Development:- Research and identify potential sponsorship opportunities aligned with the companys spaneting objectives, target audience, and brand values.
- Develop comprehensive sponsorship strategies that outline objectives, target spanets, budget allocation, and evaluation metrics.
- Partnership Negotiation and Management:
- Initiate and negotiate sponsorship agreements with prospective partners, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and align with the companys goals.
- Manage ongoing relationships with sponsors, providing regular updates, resolving issues, and optimizing partnerships to maximize value.
- Sponsorship Activation and Execution:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including spaneting, sales, and events, to activate sponsorship initiatives effectively.
- Oversee the execution of sponsored events, campaigns, or activities, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and objectives.
- Ensure that sponsored activities accurately reflect the brands values, messaging, and image.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage sponsorship budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness in sponsorship investments.
- Monitor ROI of sponsorship activities and make data-driven decisions to optimize future investments and activations.
- Market and Industry Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor sponsorships, and emerging opportunities to identify potential partnerships.
- Conduct spanet research and analysis to assess the effectiveness of sponsorship strategies and make informed decisions
Qualifications - Degree in Marketing, Communication and other relevant fields
- 4 - 6 years of experience
Area of Experience - 4 - 6 years of experience in Marketing Sponsorships and / or Partnerships
- Strategic thinker and analytical abilities to develop and evaluate sponsorship strategies
- Knowledge of spaneting principles, industry trends, and sponsorship best practices.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis
- Creativity and innovation to develop engaging sponsorship activations.
Personality Traits- Strong ownership in projects and have a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
