HCA AirLife is seeking a Business Development Manager who is passionate about building strong healthcare partnerships and advancing access to critical care transport.
In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between air medical operations and the regional healthcare community, helping hospitals, EMS agencies, and emergency responders understand and access the life-saving capabilities of HCA AirLife.
This is not a traditional sales role. Success in this position comes from building trust, strengthening clinical partnerships, and improving patient access to advanced medical transport.
What Youll Do
Build Strategic Healthcare Partnerships
Develop trusted relationships with hospital leadership, trauma programs, EMS agencies, fire departments, and dispatch centers
Conduct regular in-person visits to strengthen regional healthcare networks
Support integration of HCA AirLife services into hospital and EMS transport workflows
Identify opportunities to improve access to critical care transport
Drive Regional Outreach & Growth
Execute structured outreach and engagement strategies within your territory
Expand awareness and utilization of HCA AirLife services
Monitor healthcare trends including hospital service changes, EMS system developments, and spanet dynamics
Track outreach activities and engagement metrics
Support Education & Clinical Engagement
Coordinate educational opportunities for hospitals and emergency responders
Assist with clinical presentations and EMS training events
Represent HCA AirLife at healthcare conferences, meetings, and community events
Collaborate Across Teams
Work closely with clinical leadership, spaneting, operations, and executive teams
Coordinate spaneting resources, partner communications, and outreach materials
Serve as a liaison between healthcare partners and AirLife departments when needed
What Were Looking For
Required Qualifications
Must live within 45 minutes of the Houston area
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Strategic thinking and project management abilities
Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region
Valid current driver’s license
Knowledge of healthcare systems, EMS operations, or critical care transport
Preferred Experience
Healthcare outreach or business development experience
Experience working with hospitals, trauma programs, or EMS systems
Clinical background (Paramedic, RN, or other healthcare certification)
Established relationships within regional healthcare or EMS networks
