Purpose of Position
The Crew Planning Manager primary purpose is to lead and direct all aspects of the Advanced Crew Planning, and Crew Planning tasks, and functions. Take responsibility and accountability for the teams performance and results. Provide the optimal number of crew available to meet NetJets (NTA and NATUK) operational needs. Identify and implement changes to existing processes and solutions to enhance efficiency, maximise crew member productivity and overall team performance. Additionally, play a key role in mentoring team members, conducting performance appraisals, and fostering an environment of high performance and continuous improvement.

Tasks and Responsibilities
•Lead, motivate, develop, and support the Advanced Crew Planning and Crew Planning teams, to efficiently maximize their performance and ensure goals achievement, whilst ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
•Support the Advanced Crew Planning team with the long-term crew establishment and recruitment/fleeting plans, to deliver the number of crew members required to meet the operational needs of the current fleet and of the fleet plan, by identifying headcount discrepancies, creating projections and by planning new hire, upgrade, and fleet change numbers.
•Direct the crew roster production processes, to ensure, publishing of optimized rosters (duty days, training and vacation) that provide the required number of crew to meet forecasted flight demand and the requirements of the Capacity team.
•Design and implement crew member tools, applications, and systems to improve and enhance the level of Crew Planning support provided to crew members whilst simplifying, optimising, streamlining and reducing workload within the office.
•Identify, measure and monitor crew productivity, establishment and satisfaction related KPIs (to include, but not limited to number of duty days, planning of training events, PIC/SIC ratio, crew ratio per fleet, etc.), with support from the BI&A team.
•Support the Crew Planning team to deliver clear, transparent, proactive and consistent feedback to crew members for Crew Planning and CBA issues (related to Crew Planning), to maximise positive relations and crew member satisfaction.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)
•Degree in Aviation, Transportation, or a related field (preferred).
•More than 10 years of proven experience in Crew Planning, Operations or Scheduling areas in the aviation industry.
•Previous experience of team management.
•Fluency in Business English (written and spoken).
•Comprehensive understanding of technical/operational processes, procedures, systems, and concepts gained through extensive experience and training.
•Advanced knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards.
•Proficient use of crew management/optimization software and Microsoft Office Suite tools.
•Strong leadership, coaching, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
•Ability to make changes to existing processes and solutions to improve team efficiency.
•Ability to negotiate and be diplomatic with others while exchanging advanced technical information and ideas concisely.
