Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Technology (DT) Program Lead in support of the Air & Space Defense Systems. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for providing leadership and management of Digital needs in one or more programs in Tucson, AZ and across multiple distributed sites. This role will require the individual to be based in Tucson, AZ and cover other locations as needed. This position may require the ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
What You Will Do:
- Partner with engineering and proposal/program management to capture functional requirements, translate requirements into program environment planning and execution plans, and manage changes in scope and function of the development and collaborative environments over the lifecycle of the program
- You will use your strong background in supporting proposals/programs through your experience in Project Management, Product Development, Earned Value (EV) Management and Control Account Manager (CAM) methodologies
- Oversight and monitoring of cost, schedules, and performance of Digital tasks, which will include task planning, scheduling, EV reporting and variance analysis
- The candidate will work closely across multi-functional teams comprised of Engineering, Security, Manufacturing, Integrated Supply Chain management as well as senior Program and Digital leadership on program/project status and will require influence across multiple Functional Areas
- The successful candidate will champion and document unique technical solutions for use across the broader Raytheon Digital community
- Proactively participate in pre-proposal and proposal process by strategizing with IPT/CPT, deciphering Digital requirements in Statement of Work (SOW) and providing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for future business opportunities and pursuits
- Daily tasking and oversight of the team that provides the design and operation of the software development, integration, system requirements, and continuous access of the Digital environment and ensure compliance with security and infrastructure regulations (DFARS, CMMC, RMF, et al.)
- 100 onsite
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or a master’s degree and 5 years of experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Extensive experience as an Agile Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Product Manager, leading cross-functional teams with PMP and/or PMX/CMX certification highly desired
- Formally identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate Digital related risks and dependencies throughout the proposal/program lifecycle
- Directing the efficient use of Digital personnel and resources to advance Agile teams, projects and initiatives
- Preparation and/or presentation of weekly/monthly program reviews, proposal bid reviews, EAC, AOP, Gates, Independent Reviews (IR) and capital planning
- In-depth understanding of software development, systems integration, DevSecOps, continuous improvement and testing processes through the full program life cycle
- The candidate must be a role model in effective communication with both internal and external Customers at strategic and tactical leadership levels regarding technical issues, program/project status and contractual deliverables
- Ensuring that Digital scope is properly executed in accordance with requirements, performance standards, leveraging thought leadership, innovative solutions, and cost savings initiatives

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
