The Director, Customer Integration Team, represents Pratt & Whitney Military Engines’ business goals and objectives with all Department of Defense customers. The Director will lead a team of Lead Integrators who is responsible for interfacing with DoD customers, building relationships and gaining insights to respond with P&W solutions. This position will also ensure coverage of USMC aviation, addressing current readiness needs, customer concerns, and relationship building.
What You Will Do:
- Lead a team of Service and Field Office Integrators responsible for various P&W Military Engines customers
- Maintain close relationship with USMC aviation to develop the best solutions for future requirements in close coordination with PW Program Offices and Focals
- Build relationships to increase customer knowledge that supports business objectives, understanding USG processes—those of the Department of Defense—so that P&W products can provide capabilities to meet system requirements.
- Facilitate communication for P&W executives and program managers with salient USG and industry leaders in Washington DC.
- Coordinate all activities with the other RTX Washington DC-based colleagues who focus on Headquarters Air Force, Navy & Marine Corps programs, Joint Program offices as well as Commercial & International programs.
- Serve as P&W Military Engines’ liaison with RTX GGR and coordinate with them on achieving P&W priorities for the Executive Branch.
- Works individually and cooperatively with other industry colleagues through associations and Think Tanks to provide thought leadership that will improve business relationships between the USG and the defense industry.
- Support P&W trade show engagements as well as supporting cross-RTX trade show planning and support.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors degree with 14+ years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with 12+ years of relevant experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Skilled communicator with an ability to maintain productive relationships in difficult situations; good analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams on a wide variety of tasks and with limited supervision
- Experience in USMC Aviation to include Operations and Maintenance; experience with DoD Requirements, Acquisition and PPBE processes.
- Experience in Joint Position with DoD Services and Allied Partners Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Career Field Certifications highly desirable.
- Advanced degree preferred.

The salary range for this role is 194,000 USD - 388,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
