Duty Manager
Based in Budapest
Purpose of the position:
To provide and maintain daily operations management oversight of Wizz Air fleet and to control / coordinate -in liaison with the Duty Manager on duty- the work of involved Agencies and Operations Control Center personnel with his/her best knowledge to obtain safe, economical and passenger-oriented operation on the highest standard.

Responsibilities:
- Continuous monitoring of all flight operations
- Decision making on behalf of DM when required
- Disruption management
- In case of a Flight Safety Occurrence or Operational Disruption, notifying the appropriate company personnel / authorities
- In case of an emergency, alarming DM / SDM on duty
- Operations Pre-planning / fleet tail assignment based on maintenance requests
- Flight monitoring and fleet control
- Internal and external communications
- Sending the schedule and rotation plan to airports, ground handling agents and maintenance providers
- Arranging airport slots in ad-hoc cases
- Handling and distribution of reports from crew and GHAs
- Filing the daily operations checklist
- Providing recommendations on improving processes, systems and management practices in OCC
- Other duties assigned by Head of Operations Control
- Supporting the daily work of Duty Manager on duty
Requirements:
- University or college degree
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- 1 or more years of experience in aviation operation environment
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of AIMS
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Demonstrated commitment to a Safety Management System
- Good teamwork skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Working Times:
Continuous work, 12 hours in shifts (day shifts and night shifts in rotation)
