Equipment Manager

29.60 - 39.60 Per hour

Morson are currently recruiting for a specialist focused on the “cradle-to-grave” journey of equipment in the Aerospace industry. Based in a major engineering facility in Broughton you will be responsible for managing a range of complex machinery used for producing Aerospace components. The role is ideal for someone that has managed assets in the Aerospace industry or been in control of equipment lifecycles in a similar industry.

The role is being offered on a 12-month contract basis, with the possibility of an extension. It is a full time on site role in Broughton. We can pay a rate of 29.60 Per hour PAYE or 39.60 Per hour Umbrella.

Responsibilities

• Redefines the maintenance strategy understanding business focused maintenance, condition based maintenance to run to fail maintenance.
• Oversees the physical inspections of assets to determine their remaining useful life.
• Create reports to understand the data to support any asset changes whether replacement or change in maintenance.
• Record the relevant data required to generate and update annualised maintenance programmes, based on various forms of assessments.
• Working with the site leads, maintain a 5 to 10 year plan of what needs replacing and when.
• Support any internal / External audits

Requirements

• Degree qualified in a data analytical subject.
• Experienced in life cycle management.
• Financial acumen.
• Proven track record of implementing maintenance strategies
• Proficient in creating and analysing dashboard performance.

Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be BPSS cleared or eligible for this level of clearance before starting on site
