Roles and Responsibilities
Ownership of all aspects of facility maintenance to ensure safe operation of the building. This includes both preventative measures, reacting to plant issues and developing long term strategies.
Ownership of all aspects of equipment maintenance to ensure safe operation of the building. This includes both preventative measures, reacting to equipment down issues and developing long term strategies.Develops and maintains short and long term strategies for Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs). In conjunction with site EHS Leader ensures PIVs are compliant to GE policies
Responsible for contractor management and ensuring timely resolution of facilities and equipment issues.
Ownership of all POs related to building function, maintenance, hygiene, equipment (including digital equipment), building lease, dunnage/consumables and shop/office supplies.
Ownership and implementation of site Investment Profile and FAMS focal
Ownership of site sustainability initiatives.
Maintains relationship with building owner and CVG Airport Police.
Ensures adherence to Union Contract
Ownership of daily KPIs: Cost & Sustainability, Participates and leads daily and weekly operating meetings and rhythms
Participation in and lead shop improvement projects/events using GEs Flight Deck proprietary system
Maintaining interpersonal relationships with team members
Manage Security and Fire Operations in order to reach defined targets in safety, quality, delivery and cost in this order.
Lead various aspects of Security in order to provide a safe and secure workplace for the employees, contractors, visitors and suppliers to the site.
Manage Investment and expense budgets for onsite projects and services within remit of role
Provide a safe and secure workplace for the employees, contractors, visitors and suppliers
Ensure compliance with all government regulatory requirements relative to Security, Fire Protection, and Building code
Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards, Develop team strategy and action plans
Implementation of GE Aerospace Global Security Framework, Work with GE Aerospace Global Security on new and/ or evolving security initiatives
Maintain a close working relationship with the Regional Security Director supporting the region• Responsible for planning and preparation for crisis situations including civil strife and business continuity • Responsible for Workplace Violence concern reports, escalations and investigations in conjunction with the HR Leaders for the site. • Knowledgeable on the CCTV system operations used at the site• Experienced in fire and security technology systems, hardware and software• Subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain the eligibility requirements for access to classified information• Design and implement emergency response plans, conduct drills and drive ATS findings to closure
