Job Deschription
As Fleet Manager, you are fully accountable for the performance, availability and proper use of all GSE assets on the platform. Your work directly enables safe and on-time aircraft handling operations.
You act as the primary point of contact for station management and external maintenance providers, combining operational oversight with strong asset management expertise.
Key responsibilities
- Safeguarding availability and operational readiness of the entire GSE fleet
- Leading and coaching the Fleet Coordinator
- Managing maintanance companies and suppliers
- Planning and controlling preventive and corrective maintenance (e.g. via Maximo)
- Reducing damage and misuse through clear instructions and active follow-up
- Managing relationships and SLAs with maintenance partners
- Controlling GSE budgets and preparing business cases for additional equipment
- Ensuring accurate administration, reporting and invoice approval
- Driving safety compliance, incident investigations and procedural adherence

- Proven experience in ground handling, technical operations or fleet/asset management
- Strong leadership skills with operational awareness

- Experience with maintenance systems and asset planning tools
- Decisiveness under operational pressure in a 24/7 environment
- Solid understanding of safety standards and compliance
