Collins Aerospace is seeking to hire a Forging Account Manager to be a key professional in tactical supply chain management, overseeing critical functions that drive operational success. This role involves working onsite 1-2 days a week (hybrid work schedule) validating demand forecasts, creating and managing purchase orders (P.O.), ensuring on-time delivery, and effectively handling exceptions to maintain seamless supply flow. Ideal candidates for this position are detail-oriented professionals with strong organizational skills, a background in Supply Chain Management, and three to five years of relevant experience. This role offers an opportunity to make a tangible impact on business performance by enhancing supply chain efficiency and reliability.

What YOU Will Do:

  • Ensure uninterrupted flow of material to support manufacturing and customer OTD

  • Review purchase requisitions against the master production schedule to validate demand

  • Create P.O. in accordance with requisitions and contractual requirements

  • Expedite material as needed, negotiating and working changes within supply base through the Change Board process

  • Ensure inventory goals and objectives are met

  • Negotiate with suppliers as required for reschedules in support of inventory and business objectives

  • Support the Supply Chain Sales and Inventory Planning (SIOP) process

  • Assist the Supplier Performance evaluation process

  • Interface with Supplier Quality personnel to ensure supplier performance

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Travel < 10 as needed

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

  • 1 year experience in supply chain, preferably in the aerospace industry

  • 1 year experience & understanding of the Supply Chain Sales, Inventory and Planning (SIOP) process

  • 1 year expertise in MRP systems, preferably SAP with understanding of Procurement parameters and usage

  • Can identify risks that affect supply and delivery

  • Effectively uses root cause analysis for problem solving

  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with a diverse group of individuals

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
