Position Summary
The Maintenance MRO Manager is a leader in the maintenance organization and is instrumental in driving operational and financial performance They are a leader in the maintenance organization and instrumental in driving operational and financial performance. This individual is responsible and accountable for developing the personnel, processes and systems that will drive efficient and cost-effective scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activity. This role ensures regulatory compliance, operational reliability, cost control, vendor performance, and customer satisfaction while driving continuous improvement across maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
- Ensure full compliance with 14 CFR Part 135, Part 91 (as applicable), and company General Oporating Manual (GOM).
- Maintain readiness for FAA audits and inspections.
- Coordinate with the Director of Maintenance (DOM) on regulatory matters and corrective actions.
Maintenance Operations Management
- Manage scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events.
- Assist and support AOG response planning and execution alongside Maintenance Control
- Coordinate heavy maintenance, inspections, and major repairs with Planning.
- Monitor negative trends and implement corrective action strategies.
- Ensure accurate aircraft status reporting and downtime management.
MSU Management
- Support MSU Services which are responsible for the safe and compliant execution of maintenance for all Jetvia aircraft. They will ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures while exceeding regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for Technicians, vehicles, aircraft, tooling, equipment, and activities within the hangar(s) and on ramp(s) for all department personnel.
- Ensures that the department is properly staffed, managed, organized, trained, and directed to fulfill its responsibilities according to internal and FAA regulations.
Team Leadership
- Supervise maintenance technicians and support personnel (if applicable).
- Establish performance expectations and accountability standards.
- Foster strong communication between the facility staff, flight operations and maintenance control.
- Promote a safety-first, solution-oriented culture.
Financial & Budget Management
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets.
- Support analyzing maintenance trends to control expenses and reduce unscheduled events.
- Support forecasting for major inspections, engine programs, and component overhauls.
Reliability & Continuous Improvement
- Support reliability programs.
- Identify recurring discrepancies and develop preventive strategies.
- Drive initiatives to reduce AOG events and improve dispatch reliability.
- Evaluate field maintenance coverage and MSU/AOG asset positioning.
- Provide over and above care to aircraft, supporting initiatives to enhance customer experience.

- Audit findings and compliance status
Qualifications:
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Experience leading and supporting aircraft maintenance operations in 135 or 145 environments
- 8+ years combined experience in inspection, maintenance or servicing of corporate type aircraft
- Preferred Lear 60 aircraft experience
- Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures
- Excellent communication skills—especially in high-pressure situations
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
