You will be the Mechanical Engineering Lead and Engineering and Technology Manager (ETM) for the F35 Sensors team. Our team is responsible for the production and development efforts of the EOTS sensor, EOTS window, and DAS windows, driving innovation and excellence in these critical program areas.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Mechanical Engineering Lead and ETM, you will be responsible for leading a team of mechanical design, electro-mechanical packaging, materials, thermal, stress, and optics engineers across multiple program areas, ensuring the successful development and production of complex sensors and windows.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading staff planning, schedule, and resource management
• Providing technical leadership and expertise in mechanical engineering, opto-mechanical design, and mechanism design
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, program leadership, quality, global supply chain, production operations, and customers
• Participating in Configuration Change Board, Failure Review Boards, Corrective Action Board, and Material Review Board
• Traveling to supplier and customer sites as required

Basic Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-Starter Personality; Ability to multitask
- Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams - Full Lifecycle Development Experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical systems/programs
- BS Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
