THE TEAM
The Procurement Team at easyJet manages a significant proportion of our external spend, covering Operations, Commercial, Customer & Marketing, Business, Corporate, Finance, People, Fuel and IT functions. We work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver best-in-class procurement support and drive value for easyJet.
THE ROLE
As Lead Procurement Manager – Commercial, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Commercial and Corporate functions, with a particular focus on the Inflight Retail programme and Distribution. You will work closely with the Commercial Leadership team, managing a portfolio of spend across Commercial and other related areas.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing spend and market analysis to inform procurement strategy
- Developing stakeholder and supplier engagement plans
- Leading full tender processes, including drafting templates for new and renewed contracts
- Managing supplier relationships to ensure best value and performance
- Acting as a proactive business partner to the Commercial team, providing procurement support and advice to achieve strategic objectives
- Supporting the management of supplier relationships and ensuring adherence to procurement policy and supplier management frameworks
- Delivering best-in-class contract terms and minimising risk in the supply base
- Improving supplier service and performance, and raising the profile of procurement within the business
- Reducing cost base for allocated categories and driving proactive business partnering and category planning
