Summary and Objective
The Lead Line Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of fuel services provided to maintenance, transient, airline aircraft, as well as new hire training. This role involves competently refueling, towing, and wing walking aircraft using ground support vehicles, all in accordance with flyExclusive approved processes, procedures, and Best Practices. The Lead Line Technician will also operate Ground Support Equipment (GSE), assist in equipment maintenance, and perform inspections to guarantee fuel quality.

Train new hires to conduct quality refueling, towing, and wing walking for maintenance, transient, and airline aircraft using ground support vehicles, adhering to flyExclusive approved processes and procedures.

Complete fuel quality control inspections to include; daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and semi-annual inspections of fuel farm and truck equipment.

Ensure the functioning and cleanliness of departmental equipment and work areas.

Monitor weather conditions to guarantee aircraft safety and implement storm stacking procedures.

Greet and interact with customers, acting as a company liaison to uphold a professional image.

Perform specialized functions, including front desk and fuel farm backup, on-the-job training (OJT) for new and less experienced Line Technicians, inventory control, and working alternate shifts.

Calculate and record fuel usage and sales, completing necessary paperwork for billing and inventory accounting.

Fill Jet and Avgas trucks at the fuel farm and maintain fuel and fluid levels for GSE, courtesy, and ramp vehicles.

Monitor ramp and facility for safety and security, responding as appropriate.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.
