Job Description:
The jobholder will lead the in-house operations of our regional spare parts distribution centre for Asia-Pacific located in Singapore in order to ensure operational and financial performance. He/she will be in charge of implementing all necessary actions to run the operations of the logistics platform at the required level of performance including management of the team and relationship with our main logistics provider in charge of operating the logistics platform.
He/she will manage workload adequacy to ensure identification of constraints, risks and opportunities with associated action plans.
He/she will ensure adherence to the export control requirements and compliance policy.
The jobholder will:
Participate locally to the project of relocation of APAC regional logistics hub from Hong Kong to Singapore (recruitment of new resources, coordination of stakeholders, planning, cost control, risk management, reviews and reporting, link with the logistics provider, etc.).
Then post relocation,
Manage an Airbus Helicopters (AH) team of 5 people and maintain resources adequacy with related operations;
Manage operational and contractual relationship with subcontractors involved in the logistics platform activities;
Pilot the regional logistics hub in order to ensure operations on time (OTR), on quality (OTQ) and on budget: supervision and coordination with various stakeholders, performance monitoring including stock health and adequacy, cost control, risk management, review and reporting, etc;
Manage and oversee other logistics activities (e.g., inventory management, transportation, custom clearance, etc.);
Liaise with freight forwarder, express company for import / export shipments;
Ensure compliance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) quality system and AH quality, health & safety standard;
Participate in all internal and external audits;
Achieve high level of internal / external customer satisfaction through excellence in operational execution and contribute to timely treatment of customer complaints;
Rationalize continuously organisation and processes;
Maintain team priorities, motivate and set clear targets, conduct regular performance review and give feedback to team members;
Interface with our European Head Office in France and Germany, and with our regional Customer Centers;
He/she will report to the Head Of Material Support & Logistics for Asia-Pacific, China & India regions.

Qualification and Professional Skills
Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics Operations Management, Business, or related
More than 10 years of working experience in logistics warehouse management. Working experiences in aviation industry is preferred
Solid understanding of export control-related regulations
Ability to manage and advise internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
Proven track records in managing operational and contractual relationship with subcontractors involved in logistics platform activities
Strong knowledge in logistics activities (e.g., inventory management, transportation, custom clearance, etc.)
