Job Description SummaryThe MRO Strategy Execution Program Manager will execute the MRO strategic expansion in collaboration with senior management, shop operations, finance, and engineering. Improved shop operations with increased capability and capacity are critical to enabling the MRO network to meet customer needs at the business plan cost targets. The span of projects will include both greenfield and brownfield projects inside the MRO network to improve network capability and capacity. We are looking for someone with excellent project management skills, and an ability to effectively problem solve and deliver solutions, communicate insights, and operationalize the new capability and capacity.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project execution, from scope and growth and expansion projects, determine key milestones and operating rhythms to execute on time and in budget.

  • Leading, facilitating and/or participating in lean events to address specific elements of projects (3P, Kaizen, Rate Readiness, etc).

  • Work with the S&OP team to understand demand and capacity shortfalls and lead scenario planning of work transitions across the internal network.

  • Organizing the teams to ensure effective resources are identified to support successful completion of project execution.

  • Coordinating the resolution of various types of issues that arise during project execution - technical, operational, funding, etc.

  • Identify and incorporate technology enablers to achieve desired future state.

  • Drive clear and precise executive communication to senior GE leaders. 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 10+ Years of work experience in Aviation Services / Strategy / Repair / Overhaul.

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in a highly analytical and quantitative area, such as Business, Finance Strategy, Economics, Statistics, etc.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with critical partners and break down barriers and collaborate to accomplish business objectives.

  • Ability to operate in white space to design and execute strategies

  • Established project management skills.

  • Lean expertise and demonstrated ability to implement in a business/transactional setting.

  • Previous experience in the repair or overhaul organization

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems and lead programs / projects.
