Bell Maintenance Team – Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Bring your leadership, operational expertise, and customer focused mindset to help us support Bell Miami facility operations efficiently and safely. The Manager Customer Support provides leadership across several key support functions within our aviation maintenance organization, including parts procurement, warehouse operations, customer support/reception, facilities management, environmental health & safety (EHS), and aftermarket sales. You’ll lead a diverse team, support customers, and ensure that all support functions—from procurement to facilities—work together to enable high quality service.
What you’ll be doing as a Manager Customer Support
- Lead and develop assigned team members.
- Set clear performance expectations, promote accountability, and ensure productivity within each function.
- Provide cross-training opportunities and develop an efficient, cohesive support team.
- Foster a positive, customer focused culture across all touchpoints.
- Oversee customer communications, front office operations, and service coordination.
- Ensure a premium, professional experience for clients, visitors, and vendors.
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries and support maintenance teams with accurate, timely updates.
- Supervise procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing of parts to support maintenance operations.
- Review purchasing decisions, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure competitive pricing.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, stocking levels, cycle counts, and aviation documentation compliance.
- Support growth in parts sales, including over the counter sales (OTC) and aftermarket opportunities.
- Ensure efficient receiving, shipping, storage, labeling, and distribution of aviation parts.
- Maintain compliance with FAA, EASA, OSHA, and company standards for traceability and handling.
- Ensure the warehouse environment is organized, safe, and audit-ready.
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of hangars, offices, and surrounding areas.
- Coordinate vendors and contractors performing facility work.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and operational environment for employees, customers, and aircraft.
- Manage site compliance with EHS regulations, safety programs, and incident reporting.
- Conduct or oversee safety inspections, audits, and employee training.
- Lead aftermarket sales efforts by identifying revenue opportunities, expanding product offerings, and supporting parts sales growth.
- Drive annual OTC parts sales growth (e.g., 18 target) and work with the team to maximize margins.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external customers to support retention and repeat business.
- Evaluate and refine operational processes for efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.
- Track key performance indicators across customer support, inventory, facilities, EHS, and sales.
- Provide regular reports and recommendations to leadership.
- Support strategic initiatives and contribute to long term operational planning.
