The Stinger Finance team within the LADS (Land and Air Defense Systems) Mission Area has an immediate need for a Finance Manager to lead a team of analysts on a highly visible program within our Missile Production program area. Frequent interaction and collaboration with various functions (finance, engineering, operations, contract, and program office) and multiple levels of leadership will require you to possess strong presentation and communication skills and have a strong understanding of Earned Value Principles and Processes.

Competitive applicants must have the ability to think on their feet, make decisions in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and interact with various levels of management. This position requires proactive leadership and significant interaction with the Program Managers, Business Manager, and customer representatives from the finance and contracts teams to ensure alignment regarding strategy, operating, and financial objectives. In this role you will be a strategic business partner to various functional teams and works in collaboration on the successful execution of gate reviews, contract modification negotiations, financial reporting, and EAC’s.

This role is being offered in an onsite capacity and is based on the needs of the business. Onsite work is preferred to take place in Tucson, AZ. McKinney, TX & Andover, MA may be considered. Relocation assistance is not being provided.

What You Will Do:

• Lead and develop a team of program controls analysts

• Prepare various finance charts for Program Management Reviews, financial overviews and other financial reporting activities as required

• Coordinate development of quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs)

• Establish and maintain the overall baseline that is compliant with the program instruction, internal EVM policy and 10255

• Support preparation of cost CDRLs including Contractor Funding Summary Reports (CFSRs) and Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR)

• Support the monthly forecast / close process

• Support the development of the annual operating plans (AOP) and five-year strategic operating plan

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field & 8 years applicable work experience; OR an advanced degree and 5 years applicable work experience

• Experience with SAP, SAP Business Warehouse or equivalent systems

• Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management) or equivalent systems​ 

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
