What You Will Be Doing
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Machining Supervisor in Archbald, PA in the fabrication facilities. As a Machining Supervisor, your duties will include:

• Supervise manufacturing operators and accountable for all aspects of Quality, Schedule and Cost targets for multiple programs
• Provide leadership, support, and daily direction to employees; motivate and foster teamwork to ensure quality and achieve business goals
• Coordinate workflow, monitor schedule, and provide status reports to management
• Interact effectively with other functional areas to support production goals for internal and external customers
• Participate in and lead process improvement events; including supporting the Corrective Action Board
• Work to solve process, tooling and quality issues
• Conduct team communication sessions and training, including OJT, compliance and certification training
• Drive initiatives that help achieve safety and environmental goals
• Act as a role model for safe behavior and ensures all employees are held accountable to all policies and procedures
• Conducts research and development investigations to develop and test new fabrication processes and procedures

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Able to read engineering drawings, blueprints and interpret/translate Manufacturing Instructions to employees
• Ability to evaluate manufacturing defects, determine root cause, and develop concrete corrective and preventative actions
• Demonstrated ability to give direction and follow up on action plans
• Experience motivating employees and holding them accountable
• Exceptional people skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Fabrication operations experience including CNC Machining, Assembly, Painting, Plating, Welding, Production Control and Quality Inspection
• Green Belt or Black Belt Certifications in lean/six-sigma to drive continuous improvement
• Communication and decision-making skills
• Administration of and participation in periodic audits
• Working Knowledge of such programs as Hazardous Waste Management, ESH Standards/Practices, FOD Control, Security, Supply Chain Management, and Time/Labor Accounting
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
