As the Material Program Manager within the Air Dominance SSBU, you are accountable for the Supply Chain efforts on the Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile® (AMRAAM) program. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can develop and achieve program objectives in a matrix environment and is able to successfully interface with functional and program leadership. This position supports product through the entire life cycle from Development through Sustainment/Depot efforts that require the ability to operate in a challenging and constantly changing environment. Occasional domestic travel to Raytheon, customer, and supplier facilities is required.
What You Will Do
- MPM support for product obsolescence
- Ownership of SSBU Material Forecast and identification of risks and opportunities
- Supplier Can-Build oversight including health assessments
- Develop and execute Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans
- Support all program, SBU, and company level financial requirements
- Manage material budgets and report out via EACs on supported programs
- Execute make/buy/where process
- Assist with the generation of Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW)
- Oversee Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs)and obtain and understand supplier proposals/quotes
- Generate and process Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests
- Drive Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management
- Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance
- Facilitate supplemental documentation (DD254, NDA, FDA, SSJ, etc.)
- Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues
- Support Gates 0-11, as needed
- Willing to travel domestically, as required
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of eight (8) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with supply chain, production control, material handling and/or performance management
- ERP/MRP experience, SAP highly preferred
- Experience with budget management, finance and/or Earned Value Management System
- Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements
- Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs)
- Prior work experience with Microsoft Office software applications (Word, PowerPoint, and/or Excel including Pivot Tables)

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
