Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is hiring for a Materials Management & Transportation Manager (K Level) to join the team located in Ridley Park, PA.

Position Responsibilities:
- Manages and integrates employees activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years’ experience leading or managing a team
- 3+ years’ experience in supply chain or materials management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience in lean processes and initiatives
- Experience interfacing with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and other internal departments including Operations, Tooling, and Engineering
- Previous experience with Compass Contract (MRP) System and/or an MRP system
- Previous experience with an inventory system is highly desired, and other systems including GOLD, MES, or Compass Contract

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as spanet and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $107,950 - $146,050 USD
