Join Lockheed Martin Aeronautics as a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Planner Supervisor supporting the F-35 Production Control team in Marietta, GA. In this role, you will lead a team dedicated to optimizing production control and material flow, ensuring that F-35 manufacturing operations meet cost, schedule, and quality targets. Your expertise in production control and scheduling will contribute directly to the success of one of the most advanced aircraft programs in the world.
What You Will Be Doing
• Oversee Production Control Operations: Manage a staff of shop floor Production Control representatives across a 3-shift operation, ensuring seamless material flow and production support.
• Material Flow and Staging: Supervise the team responsible for material movement from order release to delivery, including the setup of 6S parts staging areas with clear visual management for priority tasks.
• Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators, and develop and execute standard work activities to ensure optimal production control.
• Inventory and Replenishment: Oversee Kanban and point-of-use replenishment, driving accuracy and timeliness to support ongoing production needs.
• Constraint Management: Identify and resolve production constraints, addressing non-negotiable tasks to keep production schedules on track.
• System Support: Leverage shop floor control and MRP systems to support requirements planning and execution effectively.

• A dynamic manufacturing leader with a deep understanding of production control, material flow, and inventory management.
• Skilled in leveraging metrics to drive production efficiency and managing teams to meet performance goals.
• Experienced with ERP systems like SAP and knowledgeable in production control and scheduling techniques, particularly within a high-stakes manufacturing environment.

Basic Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of SAP (MRP) or equivalent ERP system
• Experience monitoring and managing in a production control setting
• Microsoft Office computer skills (Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
• Experience leading in a union environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
