Tasks

Cost & Quality Management

  • Benchspan partner costs vs. spanet for competitiveness
  • Validate invoices, resolve issues, ensure allocation
  • Monitor performance, analyze causes, prevent recurrences

Process Optimization & Digitalization

  • Drive automation in purchase-to-pay 
  • Standardize workflows and lead improvements
  • Implement digital tools with IT

Strategic Network & Partner Development 

  • Support network design to meet business goals 
  • Manage partner selection, onboarding and contracts
  • Build strong partner relations

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Co-create solutions with Product Managers
  • Liaise with Finance, Legal, Procurement and Business Units
  • Represent partner management in initiatives 

Team Support & Capability Building

  • Mentor juniors and trainees
  • Share best practices, support onboarding

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree +5 years’ experience, or Master’s + 3 years, or extensive relevant work experience
  • Professional background in logistics or freight forwarding; ideally with procurement, quality management, or operations exposure
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Intercultural competence and ability to influence in a matrix setup
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications
  • Data-driven mindset and comfortable with business travel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and German
