This is a 1st Shift position in the CMM department.
Job Description:
Lead all employees on assigned shift. Plan work schedules, train and support shop floor employees, provide input to Supervision related to performance and Quality metrics, sustain 6S standards and communicate to off-shift personnel. Communicate with Engineering department.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain employee performance and good housekeeping practices.
- Provide instruction and training in all manufacturing operations.
- Communicate with supervisors and work out interface problems in order to assure that a satisfactory product is produced in an efficient manner.
- Perform quality checks.
- Administer company policies and manufacturing procedures.
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all safety rules.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment working with CMM.
- Knowledge of Wax processes required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed.
- Ability to perform in a self-directed environment with little supervision.
