Tasks
The Production Manager is responsible for the management and supervision of the assigned LTPT repair shops.
- Plan & coordinate daily maintenance, repair, & overhaul activities to meet production deadlines
- Lead & manage cross-functional teams, ensuring high performance & adherence to operational goals
- Ensure all operations comply with aviation industry regulations & company quality standards
- Develop & implement strategies to enhance production processes & reduce operational costs
- Allocate resources, including personnel, materials, & equipment, to maximize productivity
- Conduct safety inspections & enforce compliance with workplace safety protocols
- Oversee technical audits & ensure non-conformities are addressed promptly
- Work closely with clients to gain a deep understanding of their needs & deliver outstanding service
- Prepare detailed reports on production performance, including key performance indicators
- Facilitate training programs to upskill employees & ensure knowledge of latest industry standards
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying & implementing innovative solutions

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, economics with good technical knowledge or engineering with very good business knowledge
- Experience in the field of aircraft and/or engine and/or component engineering/maintenance engineering or in the field of material planning desirable
- 3-5 years of Production Manager and 2+ years experience in aviation
- Good knowledge of logistics
- Very good knowledge of English (German desirable)
- Very good computer skills (e.g. MS-Office, SAP)
- Ability to structure, schedule & plan complex work processes
- Strong work ethic & strong sense of accountability
- Strong organizational, intercultural & communication skills
- Conflict management skills
