Tasks
The Production Support Manager is responsible for:
- Manages Production Support of aeronautical products primarily on-site / in-field maintenance of jet engines for Mobile Engine Services
- Introduces and maintains processes, equipment and supplies that assure efficient and effective processing of job cards, materials and planning to perform the on-site repair of jet engines
- Integrates and collaborates with LHT’s worldwide MES network to develop a successful global network
- Trains local Engineering and Material Service staff to LHT and authority requirements
- Assures Production Plans to meet contractual turn-times
- Ensures compliance with airworthiness, environmental, health and safety directives
- Complies with all company policies, procedures and safety requirements
- Manages Logistic activities of the repair station
* Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience working in production engineering related roles
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading a cross functional team
- 10 years of relevant work experience in the Aviation MRO or equivalent experience with strong engine technology and engine shop background
- Extensive experience working in a highly regulated environment, preferably in aviation
- Project Management experience in delivery of new equipment & introduction of new products & processes
- Engineering degree or Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license or equivalent alternative educational background
- Thorough approach in addressing issues with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong IT & Digital skills an advantage
