Job Description:

Tasks

The Production Support Manager is responsible for:

  • Manages Production Support of aeronautical products primarily on-site / in-field maintenance of jet engines for Mobile Engine Services
  • Introduces and maintains processes, equipment and supplies that assure efficient and effective processing of job cards, materials and planning to perform the on-site repair of jet engines
  • Integrates and collaborates with LHT’s worldwide MES network to develop a successful global network
  • Trains local Engineering and Material Service staff to LHT and authority requirements
  • Assures Production Plans to meet contractual turn-times
  • Ensures compliance with airworthiness, environmental, health and safety directives
  • Complies with all company policies, procedures and safety requirements
  • Manages Logistic activities of the repair station

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in production engineering related roles
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading a cross functional team
  • 10 years of relevant work experience in the Aviation MRO or equivalent experience with strong engine technology and engine shop background
  • Extensive experience working in a highly regulated environment, preferably in aviation
  • Project Management experience in delivery of new equipment & introduction of new products & processes 
  • Engineering degree or Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license or equivalent alternative educational background
  • Thorough approach in addressing issues with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong IT & Digital skills an advantage
