An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Manager within our Air Combat and Electronic Attack (ACEA) Program team. Embedded within the Change Team as part of a larger Enterprise support structure - your mission will be to manage projects to enhance the capabilities of Defence’s F/A-18 Super Hornet and EA-18 Growler Fleet in support of achieving Defence’s capability outcomes.

The Role:

The Embedded Member of the Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) Change Team located at RAAF Base Amberley in QLD, is responsible for providing specialist Project Management services to support a range of projects for the ACEA Enterprise. The role is tailored to support preparation; development, coordination, scheduling and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and management of all assigned projects within the Change Team.
• Embodied in this role is the responsibility and accountability for ensuring that all project goals are achieved, all customer expectations are met or exceeded.
• Responsible for maintaining and improving customer/client satisfaction.
• Responsible for planning, control and reporting of projects.
• Coordination of project deliverables as per requirements.
• Provide key communication and stakeholder management for assigned projects.

The Person:

• Requires a University Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Management or other relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet the requirements of Raytheon Certified PM Ready or Leading at or above the level equivalent to the Project Categorisation Assessment Level for the role.
• Requires advanced knowledge of program management.
