Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Project Management & Planning Operations. In this role, you will correspond with program management, finance, contracts and engineering organizations concerning facets of technical publication development and coordinate efforts with these functions to support the programs. Act as technical publications representative to external and internal customers for schedule, contractual, and budget issues. Meet with customers and respond to customer questions and correspondence. Perform Tech Pubs finance functions, including establishing and managing program cost baselines, conducting Earned Value analysis and associated variance analysis using various Enterprise toolsets. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Project Management, Earned Value Management System, working with and analyzing large sets of data. Monitor status of programs and keep management appraised of situations and trends. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Project Management, Accounting, Finance, or Business related
• Experience/ability to work with databases, pivot tables and analyze large sets of data
• Experience/ability to analyze and report project status using standard Microsoft Office (MS) software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
Desired Skills:
• Ability to develop and use pivot tables and data bases to obtain data and develop reports
• Experience/ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer provided documentation
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) concepts and how to apply them
• Strong analytical aptitude, excellent oral and written communication skills and customer focus
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently on program critical tasks in a fast-paced environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
