Position: Quality Manager - Philadelphia, PA

Job Description & Requirements:
- Ensure that the organizations Quality Management System not covered by the Repair Station conforms to customer, internal, AS9100, and regulatory requirements.
- Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
- Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain the Companys AS9100 Quality Systems and Policies in compliance with quality system requirements.
- Work closely with Chief Inspector to ensure FAA Repair Station requirements and AS9100 requirements blend into standard work for all employees.
- Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
- Establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply.
- Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operation staff.
- Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.
- Liaising with customers auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers specifications.
- Preparing clear explanatory documents.
- Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing reports.
- Organize and manage quality assurance function in close co-operation with the customers and with the Companys Management team (Member of Management Team).
- Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training.
- Collating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters.
- Writing technical and management systems reports.
- Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree comprehensive quality procedures.
- Manage and maintain the Companys quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes, and finished goods.
- Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems.
- Setting a compliance objective and ensuring that targets are achieved.
- Assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and comparing with customer requirements.
- Ensure evaluation of, and reporting on, vendor quality systems.
- Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organizations products.
- Lead a team of Quality auditors.
- Report to top management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement.
- Conduct annual management review meetings.
- Oversee product recalls.
- Keep up on standards, regulations/laws, issues, and news with respect to product (service) quality.
- Monitors Oasis website.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in business or technical discipline or 3-5 five years of experience in quality control.
QA experience in aviation environment is preferred but not required.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D.
Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
Strong ability to leverage business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) to analyze data and develop effective quality systems.
