We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager who will ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements, ensuring that all maintenance work is performed to excellent standards. This position is responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management Systems for Part 145 and Part 21 operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the QA/QC Program
• Ensure performance and quality functions meet standards (FAR’s, AD’s, Service Bulletins, Part 145 Manual, company policies)
• Conduct audits/reviews to ensure work orders comply with FAA standards
• Interface with FAA and customers on quality issues
• Document aircraft and engine data accurately
• Oversee tool calibration program
• Manage Part 145/Part 21 training program
• Conduct ongoing inspections and audits
• Supervise and develop Chief Inspectors
• Conduct internal and external audits; coordinate Corrective Action Responses (CARs)
• Develop key performance indicators for the quality program
• Direct inspection program for Part 145 and Part 21
• Implement process improvement program

• Effective supervision and management of quality personnel
• Ability to work with organizations at all levels
• Skills in aircraft maintenance quality control tasks
• Establishing and collecting quality metrics
• Executing quality plans
• Implementing AS9100 and AS9110
• Internal/External auditing
• Ability to read drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• 5-10 years’ aviation experience with at least two (2) years in a QA/QC capacity and two (2) years in a management role
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate with current Inspection Authorization (IA)
• EASA experience a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field a plus
• Familiarity with ERP Systems (i.e., BaaN, Infor, SAP, RAMCO or similar)

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced, with a strong emphasis on customer service. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. The role will be based in a small hangar environment alongside A&P mechanics, avionics techs, sheet metal mechanics, and composites techs. The dress code is casual, including t-shirts and jeans.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
