We are looking for a Revenue Forecasting & Strategy Jr. Manager to deliver extraordinary experiences for our customers.
This role is ideal for an analytical, problem-solving, and leadership-oriented individual who understands the process of producing Aeromexicos passenger revenue guidance for internal executives and investors. Responsibilities include daily updates and forecasts of revenue from fares and products across different regions and time periods, as well as the development and continuous improvement of estimation models. The role also involves generating and updating the annual passenger revenue budget, creating weekly route profitability reports at the spanet level, and conducting ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decision-making.
Educational requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Business or similar. Master’s preferred.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Experience:
- Previous experience in Revenue Management and/or Finance, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence areas.
- Experience in revenue forecasting and budgeting.
Skills to succeed:
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends, as well as the ability to develop and refine forecasting models
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial principles and metrics related to revenue forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis
- Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously review data and ensure accuracy in forecasting and reporting.
- Problem-Solving: Capability to identify issues or discrepancies in data and develop solutions to address them effectively
- Statistical Modeling: Knowledge of statistical techniques and modeling methods to improve accuracy in revenue forecasting and analysis
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software and tools for data analysis and modeling, such as Excel, statistical software (e.g., R, Python), and database querying languages (e.g., SQL)
- Time Management: Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, especially with the frequent updates required for revenue forecasting and reporting.
