SAFe Release & Application Manager

Job Description:

Tasks

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive SAFe Release & Application Manager to oversee release management processes and application management activities within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. This role is split between Release Management (50) and Application Management (50)

Regular Release Management

Administration: Open Releases in Jira, Service Now.
Coordination within and outside of the Agile Release Train.
Lead role in release content management. Keep an eye on the content and make sure everything is included.
Coordinate the communication activities to all stakeholders.
Improve the current release activities and processes in terms of automation and process definition.

Application Manager

Automation for incident analysis.
Performance monitoring, creating dashboards.
Create and lead the project strategy of IT continuity
Collaboration with management.
Issue analysis and coordination of the incidents.
Help automate the SPOC activities.
Further mature the DevOps activities, lead and execute them.
Maintaining detailed documentation of processes and data load.

Requirements

ICT University Degree.
Strong experience in Scaled Scrum / Agile in roles such as Product Ownership or Scrum Master.
Familiarity with release tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage communication efforts across an ART with 60+ members.
Expertise in automation, automated incident analysis, and DevOps methodologies within a SAFe framework.
Hands-on experience in application performance monitoring and dashboard creation for large-scale agile environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
Experience with IT continuity planning, risk management, and collaboration with ITCM teams in an enterprise SAFe setting.
