Tasks
As a Safety Manager, you are primarily responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of an effective Safety Management System (SMS). Your main tasks include:
- Supporting the identification of hazards and the analysis of risks
- Monitoring the implementation and effectiveness of risk minimization measures
- Preparation of regular reports on safety performance
- Ensuring training in safety management
- Advising on safety issues and conducting internal investigations
- Promoting a strong safety culture
- Processing safety reports to the relevant authorities in collaboration with the Flight Safety Officer
- Administrative assurance of crisis and emergency preparedness for various scenarios
- Conducting internal and external audits

Requirements
In addition to initiative, a great sense of responsibility and assertiveness, you have the following qualifications:
- Sound knowledge and experience in the areas of safety management, risk management and accident and incident investigations
- Training as an EASA auditor and experience in conducting audits in the area of AOC/ATO/FSTD is desirable but not a must
- Experience in aviation law (EASA) - Air Crew Regulation
- Knowledge of compliance monitoring management is an advantage
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Confident handling of MS Office 365
- Strategic and cross-divisional thinking and acting
