Job Description:

As the Senior Business Psychologist, you will act as a practitioner psychologist for the organisation to enable and accelerate performance and development through delivery of expert psychological services. You will play a pivotal role in the ongoing delivery of business outcomes through a range of interventions underpinned by expertise in psychology. 


In this role, you will:



  • Research, design, deliver and evaluate psychological interventions to enable and accelerate individual and team performance and development in the domains of organisational psychology.

  • Operate in a consultancy style to deliver outcomes in a planned and systematic way through collaborative stakeholder relationships, driving business outcomes through designing and delivering holistic solutions in partnership with related functions.  

  • Design and deliver occupational and psychological assessments and diagnostics which are fit for purpose to inform selection decisions, accelerate development, and strengthen performance.  

  • Consult, advise and facilitate the business  to optimise  organisational strategies, structures, and processes to improve organisational effectiveness.  

  • Design, implement and evaluate organisational effectiveness and change interventions to enhance leadership, engagement, and culture.

  • Design, deliver, and evaluate occupational advisory and coaching interventions that supports the  individual career advancement, team development, improve job-fit and talent skill alignment and ensure operational readiness for safety critical roles.

  • Address individual, social, and organisational factors in work environments, promoting well-being at work through effective diagnosis and design of work environment, and contemporary ergonomics.  

  • Undertake behavioural science research and use data-driven insights to provide appropriate recommendations and innovate based on current and future business needs.  

  • Promote ethical and professional standards of practice while sharing knowledge and upskilling stakeholders and team members to build internal capability and align with international standards and best practice.

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, leading by example to promote excellence, accountability and achievement of shared goals and objectives.  

Job Requirements:

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements: 



  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources or Psychology (Organisational)

  • 8+ years of experience in Human Resources or Organisational Psychology

  • Meet practice requirements and standards of occupational psychology as British Psychological Society (BPS) or similar.

  • Qualification in psychometric testing e.g. British Psychological Society Test User Occupational Ability and Personality.

  • Professional Membership of a recognised regulating body (e.g. HCPC, APS etc) or equivalent experience.

  • Should have worked in an Occupational / Aviation setting in private practice or in a corporate environment.

  • Progressive experience in a people and organisational development role. 


You will have an edge if you have:



  • Applied BPS standards in occupational psychology, including ethical practice, evidence-based methods, and the consultancy cycle

  • Experience in psychometric assessments, organisational development, and applying psychology in workplace settings

  • Strong research and data analysis skills, using insights to guide decisions

  • Proven consultancy experience with solid project management and problem-solving capabilities

  • Confidence working with diverse stakeholders and advising senior leaders

  • A curious, driven, and self-motivated mindset with a passion for continuous growth
