ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
As a Senior Software Developer, reporting to the delivery lead, you will be part of a team that works on SmartPath™, more specifically our SmartPath biometrics team.
At airports across the world, SITA provides self-service and agent-assisted passenger processing solutions at every step of the journey from check-in to boarding. With self-service devices to help airports facilitate the need for easy flow management, SmartPath™, with just a quick scan of the face, allows passengers to easily validate their identity along the entire passenger journey without having to pull out their passports or boarding passes.
Biometrics has fast become a leading capability for airport self-service passenger processing opportunities around the world. As measured by the number of passenger processing touchpoints in operation, SITA is the spanet leader with large scale production deployments across our four geographies. We have a strong order book and an exciting technology roadmap.
We are a culturally and internationally diverse team, and we have achieved a great deal in a short space of time. We have big ambitions for our biometric ecosystem, and we are looking to meet innovative and enthusiastic people to help us.
