Job Description:

AAR Corp is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to lead and support a broad range of HR functions across a diverse and fast-paced operation. This role will serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to leadership, guiding employee relations, performance management, and compliance initiatives while ensuring a positive employee experience.

What you will be responsible for: 

  • Partner with the leadership team on a variety of HR and business-related concerns, both strategic and operational. 
  • Develop forward-thinking solutions based on understanding of relevant business operations and strategies.
  • Drive the implementation of HR initiatives and process improvements.
  • Demonstrate independent judgement and makes HR decisions within his or her scope.
  • Manage day-to-day employee relations, staffing, and compensation in partnership with managers and functional partners. 
  • Manage compliance with employment laws and government reporting regulations and maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures accordingly. 
  • Lead investigations and manage employee relations matters with professionalism, consistency, and discretion.
  • Supervise HR team members, including hiring, coaching, and developing talent to build a high-performing function.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with company values and strategic priorities. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:

What you will need to be successful in this role: 

  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined in 22 C.F.R. §120.15
  • Must be able to obtain / maintain a U.S. Department of State Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT).
  • Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or ten years related experience and/or training; or 18 years equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 7 years HR management experience
  • Must have 5 years of supervisory experience within human resources and direct experience in employee relations and workplace investigations
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time including international travel
  • Build strong relationships with internal customers, fostering trust and promoting collaboration
  • Handle confidential matters with discretion

  • Bring stability and leadership to the HR function during a period of change, effectively integrating into the team and aligning with company values.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $140,000 to $155,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a bonus. AAR offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life/and AD&D insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer match, paid time off and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
