We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.As Senior Logistic Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall logistics operations to maximize efficiency and minimize cost of the supply chain, in order to maximize customer service level while assuring cost-effectiveness. you will be involved in strategic planning, coordination and execution of logistics activities, ensuring that products are delivered on time and that the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained. You will lead a team that includes both workers and employees.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities
Lead Import/Export activities, working with Customs, ensuring all international transactions adhere to the rules and regulations that govern importing and exporting goods.
Support ITC and OTR team in developing and maintaining programs that ensure compliance with regulations.
Develop and implement, according to HQ, global transportation cost-savings programs for year-over-year savings.
Work with functional leaders to ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs and demonstrate accountability for functional, business and broad company objectives.
Lead/Participate in daily management meetings, CCC/PCC, Genba walks, Kaizen and Shingi events.
Develop, coach and lead Logistics team, setting measurable goals and objectives to evaluate success and drive continuous improvement.
Design and drive process changes that improve safety, quality, productivity, by working with cross functional team.
Manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and specifications.
Activate Connected flow through the use of GE Aerospaces FLIGHT DECK operating system to achieve the companys future Inventory and flow objectives.
Qualifications/Requirements
Master’s Degree in STEM subjects including Economics from an accredited college or university.
Solid previous experience in leading supply chain and materials teams driving lean culture and operational transformation.
Strong experience in a Lean Manufacturing.
Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required.
Fluent in English and Italian, both written and oral.
Proficient in computer Skills, MS Office package, SAP.
