- Provide a quality service to passengers in the Emirates Lounge as per the criteria set forth in the Company’s commercial, safety and security policies, standards and procedures. Ensure all operational criteria are completed within specified time frames as per applicable procedures.
- Ensure the delivery of a consistently high level product for EK premium customers and that the service suppliers provide the expected level of service. Ensure Premium passengers are provided with the highest level of customer service at all times.
- Greet passengers as they enter the Lounge and introduce them to all aspects of the Lounge product, advising them of all available services and offering assistance where required to maintain customer loyalty.
- Liaise with service providers and supervise contracted staff, overseeing catering, cleaning and maintenance operations, so that service standards are met and maintained.
- Assist operational staff in a proactive manner, to ensure passenger needs are met by undertaking seat changes, issuing of boarding cards, check-in of transit passengers. Handling of IOs. Coordination and handling of lounge access sales, sales reporting and, where applicable.
- Keep all passengers in the lounge informed regarding their fight departure and any other information pertaining to their flight.
- Assist with expeditious and accurate completion of all reports & statistical data and recording inwards goods and confirmation of invoices. Assist with daily/weekly stock control.
- Support and cover in other operational areas where required due to staff shortfalls resulting from leave and sickness absence and undertake various other administrative functions and duties where directed by the Airport Services Manager and other senior staff on duty.
QualificationQualifications/Experience
- ‘O’ Level or equivalent
- Given the specific requirements at outstations, a minimum of 2 years’ experience is required in either Aviation or Hospitality
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Keen interest in the hospitality industry an advantage
- Fluent in written and spoken English and German
