Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to support the Composite Manufacturing Center (CMC) team in Frederickson, Washington

The Senior Manager will be responsible for creating and executing plans to achieve required rate breaks and flow day requirements in 777 Assembly. They will work to improve visibility and lead the reporting and presentation of current gaps to plan, as well as actions being taken to achieve the plan.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines. 

  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.

  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. 

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. 

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. 

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.

  

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence change.

  • Ability to work any shift assigned, including overtime and weekends.

  

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience using lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools.

  • Experience in safety and quality leadership position.

Summary Pay Range: $141,300 - $172,700
