Advanced Technology is seeking a Senior Program Manager that is responsible for a) the capture and execution of small-to-medium size Contract Research and Development (CRAD) projects and b) managing a portfolio of Capital Investment Projects supporting the SSBU.
In this role, you will be a key member of our AT team, responsible for identifying, shaping and driving proposals and winning technology programs. This position supports our Advanced Integrated Systems sub-business unit (SSBU).
This role is Onsite located in Tewksbury, MA.
What You Will Do
- Lead engineering teams in architecting concepts and solutions for customer-identified technology problems and warfighter gaps
- Lead cross-functional teams in creation of customer-enticing white papers and winning proposals
- Lead program teams in successful execution of technology-based contracts
- Develop and lead internal investment projects, such as Internal Research and Development and Capital, to bolster winning new business and program execution
- Plan, organize, direct and control all aspect of Capital Investment projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support Advanced Technology Mission Area Directors in developing and executing strategy, achieving financial commitments and managing to budgets
- Guide, apprentice, mentor, and train employees across all functions to enable innovative, flexible and high-performing team results
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
- Program management or project management experience
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance after start
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in high-performance DoD systems development across multiple domains and across the kill chain
- Experience across full-scale systems engineering design and development
- Experience driving DoD TINA-compliant cost estimating and pricing
- Experience with writing and leading proposals both large and small
- Experience leading and developing cross-functional teams
- Experience managing technical, cross-discipline development programs
- Raytheon or other DoD/Industry Program Management Certification
- Demonstrated excellence in interacting with customers and decision makers
- Excellent communication ability in verbal, written and presentation formats
- Knowledge of fundamental financial decision-making as it relates to investments and accounting
- Experience managing subcontractors
- Existing, or the ability to obtain, a TS/SCI Security Clearance

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
