• This job is part of the Revenue Management Team within the Revenue Division.
• Responsible for leading a team to drive significant top line revenue improvements for American Airlines and in being a thought leader and active participant as a member of the RM leadership team

• Leads a team to identify and quantify revenue opportunities through in-depth analysis of data
• Creates and fosters a relentless focus on spanetplace execution by assessing the competitive spanetplace, identifying new revenue opportunities and leveraging available tools, processes, best practices and reporting.
• Works to develop analysts to ensure a high level of job proficiency and prepare them for future roles with increasing responsibility
• Develops and recommends practical revenue management solutions
• Takes a strong leadership role in a wide variety of revenue initiatives, collaborating with other departments including Pricing, Yield Management, Network Planning, Sales, Finance, AAdvantage, and Marketing.
• Drives and coordinates projects with other departments and presents analyses and recommendations to Senior Management
  

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelors degree with significant coursework or experience in a quantitative discipline (economics, mathematics, engineering, finance, etc.), or equivalent training/experience
• 7 years related experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Experience directly or indirectly leading teams with significant enterprise and/or top line revenue
  responsibility
• Demonstrated ability to solve and lead others in solving complex analytical problems
• Master’s degree in business-related discipline
