Sr R&D Manager - Hydroprocessing Development
An excellent career opportunity is currently available for the Senior R&D Manager within Honeywell UOPs Research and Development organization located in Des Plaines, IL. This position provides a unique opportunity to lead a team of scientists and engineers in the development and delivery of new hydrocracking, hydrotreating and co-processing technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop robust technology development strategies with business leaders to ensure hydroprocessing technology area is well positioned for near-term and long-term growth.
- Lead and manage the execution of the annual hydroprocessing technology development portfolio to achieve technology delivery commitments while keeping within project budgets.
- Engage with business and cross functional leaders to deliver on revenue and margin commitments from new products.
- Lead and manage the execution of hydroprocessing development transformation initiatives to drive efficiency improvements to accelerate the delivery of new product introductions.
- Lead the development and execution of the hydroprocessing technology IP strategy as well as the monitoring and analysis of competitor activities.
- Provide technical leadership on alliance and joint development projects with external partners.
- The formation of high performing, inclusive and diverse teams.
YOU MUST HAVE- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 5 years of experience in Research & Development
