THE WORK
The selected candidate will be responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD, and international programs. They will lead multifunctional subcontract management teams. They will hold procurement delegation and sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. They will lead the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types. They will prepare bid packages, conducts bidders conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions including price, select and /or recommend subcontractors, write subcontract packages, prepare awards and administer resulting subcontracts and required change activity.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university

- Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures (associated knowledge of FAR / DFAR requirements)

- Project management experience
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)

Experience managing major suppliers

Experience leading a cross-functional team

Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering as they relate to subcontract management

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
