Position Summary
Ready to take the next step in your aviation career? We’re looking for a Sheet Metal Team Lead to drive efficiency, quality, and teamwork in our structural repair and modification projects. In this role, you’ll lead and mentor a team of skilled technicians, ensuring safety, compliance, and top-notch execution in every project.
Your mission
- Lead and Develop a Team: Guide, mentor, and motive sheet metal technicians to maintain high standards of workmanship, efficiency, and teamwork.
- Oversee Structural Repairs and Modifications: Execute and inspect maintenance tasks, structural repairs, modifications, and defect rectifications to ensure aircraft integrity and safety.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Ensure safety policies, environmental health standards, and aviation regulations are followed while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Manage Workflow and Resource Allocation: Assign tasks, distribute work efficiently, and monitor project progress to meet cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
- Collaborate with Leadership and Teams: Work closely with the Sheet Metal Supervisor and Senior Manager to align daily operations with project goals and company standards.
- Ensure Accurate Documentation and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date records, time sheets, hazard reports, and project documentation for transparency and compliance.
- Support External Partners and Cross-Departmental Teams: Facilitate smooth coordination with external contractors and internal teams working on aircraft projects.

Your profile
- Technical degree and several years as Sheet Metal Technician in the aviation industry.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, aviation regulations, and maintenance documentation.
- Leadership skills with a passion for coaching and mentoring.
- Holder of an S-License, beneficial
- Experience with SAP ERP or equivalent systems.
- Good English skills.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
