Are you our new Team Manager of General Accounting?

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Leader, General Accounting to join our team in the Riga Support Office. In this role, you will lead and develop the General Accounting team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial operations. You will play a key part in driving operational efficiency, focusing on continuous improvement and automation of accounting processes.

You are our ideal candidate if you have:

• Good leadership and team management skills, with proven success in driving change and improving team performance and outcomes
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience
• Master’s degree in accounting or finance
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English, written and verbal
• Knowledge of IFRS with practical experience in its application is a strong advantage
• Experience with advanced finance technologies, such as Power Apps (Power BI, Power Automate, etc.) and AI-driven solutions, will be considered a significant advantage.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the General Accounting team’s workflows, ensuring timely implementation of improvements.
• Functional responsibility for accounting processes, such as accounts receivable, bank accounting, intercompany accounting, remittance and others
• Ensure high quality for statutory, tax and VAT reporting, including the preparation of annual statutory reports for legal entities within the Group
• Monitor and continuously improve month-end closing procedure to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Support the Global Accounting team at the HQ and the direct manager on different initiatives and projects.
