Joby Aviation is seeking a passionate and driven Technical Program Management intern to join our team in San Carlos, CA!
Responsibilities
- Develop next generation product roadmap by working with cross functional stakeholders, that include engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, maintenance, certification, business development, finance and field operations, and program management
- Build and refine sensitivity models, that will incorporate development plans from functional areas, then drive assessment efforts
- Participate in various analysis efforts, that could involve should-cost, actual, and target projection
- Assess priorities of new features and efforts by collaborating with cross functional leadership to identify key goals, objectives, estimated efforts; then establish OEM product plan including milestones
- Ensure roadmap remains relevant and actionable, aligned across teams and company leadership
Required
- Has completed or is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or Business Development with focus on technology innovation or new product development
- Heading into junior or senior year of undergraduate degree or above
- Able to handle high paced environments and comfortable with uncertainties
- Effective communication skills, both written and executive presentation
- Travel across various Joby sites to collaborate with cross functional teams
Desired
- Has completed or is pursuing a graduate degree
- Familiar with Urban Air Mobility, eVTOL sector or renewable energy technologies
- Has direct project experience with hardware development and introduction

The pay range for undergraduate interns, which includes freshman to senior level students, is $20-32/hr. The pay range for graduate interns with a Bachelor, Master, and/or Ph.D. degree is $5,400-$7,500/month. Individual pay is determined by internship role, department, experience, job-related skills, and level of education.
