Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for driving the entire performance of the value stream with an emphasis on maximizing inventory turns, on-time delivery, lead-time and quality. To be successful in this role, you must be able to work cross functionally with engineering, finance, procurement and sales and you must relentlessly drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste
Essential Functions:
- Lead and manage production to achieve company goals.
- Participate in the development of the Fort Walton Beach kaizen roadmap
- Responsible for maximizing profit by efficiently controlling Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
- Allocate resources to meet external and internal commitments while maintaining budgetary control.
- Assure appropriate equipment is provided, maintained and safely operated.
- Conduct and/or facilitate the value stream mapping.
- Lead and facilitate kaizen events.
- Develop employees to reach their maximum potential.
- Build a highly skilled, highly regarded and highly motivated customer focused team.
- Ensure results are maintained and displayed on a timely basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Five years experience directly leading manufacturing operations.
- Expert in lean manufacturing and advanced problem-solving skills.
- Eligibility Requirement: This position requires access to controlled data or information and therefore only US persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
